The St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine is proud to announce the second annual Greek language essay contest; which, upon the recommendation of the Board of Trustees of The St. Photios Foundation Inc., and with the blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, has been renamed “The St. Photios National Shrine Metropolitan Iakovos Memorial Scholarship Essay Contest.” This unique essay contest is in addition to the annual English language essay contest which has recently concluded.

 

The theme for this year’s annual Metropolitan Iakovos Memorial Scholarship Greek Language Essay Contest is: "Reflecting on the welcoming of immigrants to this nation."

 

We kindly ask your cooperation in promoting this event among all our faithful and greater Hellenic community through social and parish media as appropriate and possible. Attachments are included in this email.
