His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America arrived in the Bahamas on Friday February 23, 2024 for a pastoral visit and the ordination of Alexandros Maillis to the Holy Diaconate. Welcoming His Eminence at the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau were Fr. Irenaeus Cox, presiding priest of the local Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, subdeacon Alexandros Maillis along with diakonissa -to -be, Panagiota and their kids Eleni, Christina and Pericles and members of the community.
